Powertrain Options
The base engine in the GMC Yukon is a 5.3-liter V8 that produces 355 horsepower and 383 lb.-ft. of torque. However, if you're looking for more power, our GMC dealers recommend the 3.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that generates 277 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque.
For maximum performance on the road, opt for the 6.2-liter V8 engine, which cranks out 420 horsepower and 460 lb.-ft. of torque.
Drivetrain Options
You will also have your choice of drivetrain when you drive home in the GMC Yukon. While rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard, you can also opt for four-wheel drive (4WD), which comes standard with the AT4 trim. This model in particular is perfect for off-road enthusiasts.
Seating Options
If you choose front bucket seats and second-row captain’s chairs for your GMC Yukon, you'll get to enjoy space for up to seven people. However, swapping those seats out for benches will increase your capacity to nine passengers.
Cargo Space Options
The GMC Yukon has an enormous amount of cargo space: 25.5 cubic feet behind the third row, 72.6 cubic feet when it’s down, and 122.9 cubic feet with both back rows folded.
There is a way to get even more space, however. If you go with the Yukon XL trim, those numbers increase to 41.5 cubic feet behind the third row, 93.8 cubic feet when it's down, and 144.7 cubic feet with both back rows folded.
